Karolyn Fankhouser grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and is a graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. She obtained her real estate license in 1991 and began working along with Helen Selig at Selig Commercial Real Estate. Karolyn’s areas of expertise are sales, leasing and property management.

Karolyn is a Past President of the Hot Springs Board of Realtors and Oaklawn Rotary Club. She is also a graduate of Leadership Hot Springs Class XV, past board member of CASA and Junior Auxiliary Life Member. Karolyn currently serves on the board of LifeNet and is the Membership Chairman for the Downtown Association of Hot Springs. She also serves as a Greater Hot Springs Chamber Ambassador and recently received the 2017 Amabassador of the Year Award.
